和泉伸一（いずみしんいち）は、日本の言語学者。上智大学外国語学部英語学科教授。応用言語学博士。専門は第二言語習得研究と英語教育。

来歴[編集]

神奈川県小田原市に生まれる。東京国際大学教養学部国際学科卒業。在学中、南オレゴン州立大学で政治学の学位を取得。南イリノイ大学カーボンデール校大学院修士号修了（応用言語学）、ジョージタウン大学大学院博士課程修了（応用言語学）。Ph.D。

南イリノイ大学で日本語講師、ジョージタウン大学で言語学講師をつとめる。10年余りアメリカにおいて研究及び教育活動に従事した後、2000年度より上智大学外国語学部英語学科にて教鞭を取る。

日本を代表する第二言語習得研究者で、学術論文は著名な国際学術雑誌に数多く掲載されている。現在は主に第二言語習得の認知的研究を基に、「フォーカス・オン・フォーム」の日本の英語教育における応用の可能性を探っている。
