ハプログループC (mtDNA)
ハプログループC (mtDNA)は分子人類学におけるミトコンドリアDNAハプログループの一タイプであり、ハプログループCZの子型のうち「489 10400 14783 15043[1]」等で定義されるもの。カスピ海とバイカル湖の間のどこかにおいて、約21,700年前[2]に誕生したと考えられている。
分布[編集]
南アメリカから中央アメリカにかけてのアメリカ先住民で最大80%[3]の高頻度で観察される他、シベリア（北アジア）においてもエベンキで72%[4] 、ユカギール人で69%[5] など高頻度に観察される。東アジアにおいてもそれほど頻度は高くないものの、観察される。C1はアメリカで観察される系統だが、C1aのみアジアでもみられる。

- C7: 中国、朝鮮 、ベトナム、ラオス、カンボジア、タイ、ミャンマー、インド（アルナーチャル・プラデーシュ州 [9]など）
