Served with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) as ‘9271’ from 1951 to 1956.
Bought by Lloyd Nolen in 1957, becoming the founding aircraft of the Confederate Air Force (CAF). Still operated by the CAF (since renamed the Commemorative Air Force), she is based at Atlanta-Peach Tree in Georgia.
Seen departing to take part in the 2015 Arsenal of Democracy Flyover to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of VE Day and the end of WW2.
