c/n 139.
Operated by MBB (formerly Messerschmitt and now part of the Airbus Group), this DB engined '109' is actually a much rebuilt Hispano Buchon, a post-war Spanish built 109, which originally served in the Spanish Air Force as 'C.4K-75'. She was one of the many Buchons to fly in the 'Battle of Britian' film, before being sold to the USA. In 1997 she returned to Europe and underwent a thorough rebuild, including the conversion to a Daimler-Benz engine. She looks and sounds fantastic and is seen here making her Flying Legends debut at the 2015 event.
