c/n 962.
One of many ex RCAF aircraft disposed of to farmers after WW2, this Bolingbroke was acquired by Sir William Roberts in 1972 and shipped to Strathallan in Scotland. A planned restoration to fly did not materialise and in 1981 it joined the museum at East Fortune. An impressive static restoration has now been completed and the aeroplane has been finished in a genuine RCAF training colour scheme.
On display in the Military Aviation Hangar at the National Museum of Flight (part of National Museums Scotland).
East Fortune Airfield, East Lothian, Scotland.
